1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Smart Secretary AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Smart Secretary AI provides AI-powered document generation tools, allowing users to create, edit, export, and manage professional documents using credits. Each AI-powered document generation or enhancement costs credits from your account balance.

3. Credits and Payment

• Credits are purchased via Paystack in Ghana Cedis (GHS) at published rates.
• One (1) credit is deducted per AI document generation or text enhancement action.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts and have no cash value.
• Credits do not expire unless your account is terminated.
• Payments are processed securely by Paystack. Smart Secretary does not store card details.

4. AI-Generated Content

• Documents are generated by AI based on your inputs and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all generated content before use.
• Smart Secretary is not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated documents.
• AI output may vary between generations of the same input — this is expected behavior.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, illegal, or misleading documents.
• Attempt to manipulate the AI through prompt injection or adversarial inputs.
• Share your account credentials or transfer credits.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service infrastructure.
• Use the Service to infringe on intellectual property rights.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the documents you generate. Smart Secretary retains ownership of the platform, including its design, code, and AI integration. You may not copy or redistribute the platform itself.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

Smart Secretary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the preceding 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
